Senior Software Engineer

Largely remote (2 days a week in office) – Bristol
Up to £75,000 annual salary + a competitive benefits package

We are looking for a talented Senior Software Engineer in the UK. Do you possess strong coding experience in Java? Are you interested in solving real-world problems for a variety of customers and stakeholders? Then this is a great opportunity for you. You'll have the chance to work in a diverse team of multi-disciplinary engineers, building cutting edge applications/software to support military, first responders and other frontline personnel. Most importantly, your work will be utilised by 100,000s of users across the world!

You will play a key role in mentoring junior developers to help them reach their full potential, by offering guidance and feedback where possible
You will work with a wide range of technologies, with a company whose ethos is to use the right tools for the job/solve the problem, rather than always use the same tech stack
You will be working on: Android app development, Hardware integration, Online service deployment, Rapid prototyping, Feasibility studies and Technical assurance
Some technologies used in the business: Kotlin, Java, Python, C++, Git, Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP)What you ideally have:

Most importantly, due to the nature of the work, you must be eligible to work in the UK and have or be able to qualify for National Security Vetting (SC Clearance).
