Senior Software Engineer – Hybrid Working – Up to £65k

On behalf of our growing client based in Manchester, we are recruiting a talented Senior Software Engineer. As Senior Software Engineer, you will be a key part of their development team, focused on delivering customer solutions on the Angular-Microsoft stack.

The Senior Software Engineer will be responsible for:

Developing testable, bug-free & scalable code following SOLID principles and coding best practices.

Contributing to the planning, architecture, design, and specification of web applications.

Understanding the capabilities of the business’s stock application and how it can be used to deliver standard application features.

Using knowledge and experience to advise on improvements to the process and product.

Working with the design team to advise on the feasibility, practicality, and risk of proposed designs.

Working with the delivery team to deliver projects to a high standard and to defined timescales and budgets.

Extending, enhancing and identifying gaps in the support documentation for the delivery team

The Senior Software Engineer will have the following:

Commercial development experience building scalable web applications on the Microsoft stack with excellent C# and SQL

Experience developing Angular Single Page Applications (SPA) including: TypeScript; Reactive forms; RxJS Observables; Custom validation; Package management; Transclusion; Templates; Dynamic component loading; Webpack.

Excellent understanding of Object Orientated Programming, SOLID principles, Design Patterns and best practices.

Excellent analytical, problem solving and fault diagnosis skills.

Very good understanding of secure development practices (OWASP)
