Job Description
A newly acquired SaaS organisation based in the UK are looking to bulk out their Engineering team with a couple of Senior Software Engineers (ideally with strong experience using Python) – Fully Remote working on offer.
They've been operating for a couple of years now, but have already made a pretty big mark on the scene – they've recently been acquired by a global MedTech organisation, so now have the financial backing of a powerhouse.
Their technical function currently sits at two strong (Engineering Manager and Lead) – but they're really looking to grow over the next couple of years, as they've got big expansion plans. Currently, they're looking for a few Software Engineers at various levels to help with the large volume of work they've got planned for 23/24.
Their product is UK based and widely used in Healthcare, with tangible links to the NHS. With the recent acquisition they are now looking to re-write a lot of the product (and start to build others) with a more modern tech stack; Python, AWS, ReactJS + TypeScript – Something you will be heavily involved in. All products will be built to scale and follow a DevOps model, they will be placing a really strong importance on best practices here – so working in a similar environment will stand you in good stead.
You'll ideally have strong experience with the following:
** Python (Open to Java Engineers if you're willing to switch)
** AWS
** HTML, CSS and JavaScript
** Databases (ideally SQL Server)
** Working in a Product environment.
The following experience is highly desirable;
** ReactJS + TypeScript
** DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
** Integrations
** Software Architecture
The team describe themselves as a friendly and collaborative squad, so are ideally looking for a similar mould. Although the work is done 100% remotely it's crucial to them no-one feels isolated here as the team stay very well connected through many channels. Additionally, every so often they will try to get the team together for some team-bonding events (Fully paid for and of course not enforced).
The salary on offer stretches from £80k to £120k, for the right individual. They also offer pension, private medical, bonuses and company stocks – it's a really strong package. Additionally, they support fully remote working so you can work freely from anywhere in the UK – with no office commitment at all.
