Job Description

Job title: Senior Systems Analyst
Location: Hybrid, Nottingham (2 days pw but flexible / infrequent depending where you live) – Open to Remote working for the right candidate
Contract length: 6 months initial contract – potential to be extended
Hours: 40 hours pw, 8 hours pd
Rate: £450 – £550 per day Umbrella – Inside IR35
Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently recruiting for a Senior Systems Analyst to work for a global leading energy technology company.
The project is for the onboarding of a managed credit product.
Role:
Assisting the Head of Technical Solutions in the definition of best practice and own business excellence for the system analyst capabilities.
Coaching, mentoring, and developing Systems Analysts and Developers in line with departmental capability planning.
Agree time and scope of project deliverables with projects managers and ensure deliverables are to the required quality. Support the pre-sales technical activities including engagement with customers.
Document and manage system requirements and undertake system analysis and design. To perform these tasks communication and collaboration with a wide variety of stakeholders and technical experts is essential. Key to the role is the ability to analyse business requirements and to ensure that system requirements are captured accurately to provide a technical solution which will adhere to the business objectives. Effective written and oral communication skills are required.
Sector experience – to have worked in the Energy and/or Utilities sector with knowledge of UK energy industry, Smart Metering, Smart Grid, Asset Management, Field Services, Resource Planning
Extensive knowledge of MAS systems, Utilities experience and Smart Metering experience is essential.

Have significant experience in bid process, ensuring that bid responses are in line with the I.T. Strategy.

Experienced IT Analyst and working knowledge of Enterprise analytical methods

Have knowledge and experience of data migration – strategy, rules and mapping, transformations and cleansing of data. This can include data take on and data extraction.

Effective stakeholder management (RACI) including senior stakeholders.

Have experience of interfacing with Customers, Suppliers and Technical experts.

Experience of working the full project life cycle with proven ability to deliver in both Agile and Waterfall projects.

Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Have excellent influencing skills.
*
Have good knowledge of SQL, middleware, and cloud-based solutions.
*
Effective time management and prioritisation of workload.

Effective change management.
*
Experience in using requirements engineering tools.

Provide accurate estimates.
