Senior Technical Consultant – Microsoft Workplace

Polar Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading IT Services client for a Senior Technical Consultant – Microsoft Workplace to join a highly successful and rapidly expanding Consultancy Practice.

The Senior Technical Consultant – Microsoft Workplace will join an existing team of consultants focussed on Microsoft Desktop & Workplace solutions design and delivery for prestigious enterprise clients.

Senior Technical Consultant – Microsoft Workplace responsibilities;

Undertake large scale consultancy assignments, analyse customer requirements, gather data and recommend solutions
Attend and present at customer workshops / meetings
Design, document and implementing solutions
Ensure handover to support is successfully completed.
Produce high quality assignment documentation

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in a similar technical consultancy / architect position, designing, documenting and delivering solutions.
Microsoft certification and strong technical skills and experience including;
Desktop deployment – large scale MS Windows deployment experience
Windows Desktop configuration (ADK / MDT / Task Sequences)
Deployment tools; SCCM, Intune
Scripting skills (PowerShell / VBScript)
Familiar with Desktop Security, Desktop Optimisation, Directory Services.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Commercial awareness
Pre-sales / experience leading small teams desirable
Full Driving Licence and flexibility; willing to travel widely for assignments, although flexible working/WFH (Working from Home) is available when not on site.
