Senior Timetabling Analyst

Goodman Masson are working with a prestigious University based in Central London who are currently recruiting for a Senior Timetabling Analyst to join their team. This is a great opportunity for candidates with strong Oracle and SQL skills.

Salary: £47,000 – £55,000 per annum plus benefits
Duration: Permanent
Location: Central London (minimum on-site requirement twice per week)

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Being an expert in the university's timetable systems
Managing change requests and upgrade
Triaging complex support tickets
Oracle PL/SQL development work
Leading on initiatives such as shift to cloud, security compliance, and CICD adoption
Mentoring other technical staff
The successful candidate must have:

2nd/3rd line support experience for complex applications, including off the shelf applications
Strong Oracle skills, PL/SQL and SQL
Great communication and stakeholder management skills
Desirable skills include:

Experience of working with CMIS and CMISGo from Advanced or similar timetabling software
PHP
Supporting apps using SQL server, Oracle IIS, tomcat
Testing experience
Change release and version control experience
