Newcastle– On-site requirement 2 – 3 days a week

The Role.

My Client are currently looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join the team and head up the service delivery within the business (1st, 2nd and 3rd line support teams).
They currently have 100 people within the I.T Space. Team size Circa 20. Which is a blend on in-house tech and outsourced tech
The core focus of this role is to help improve and build out the service function.As-well as embed good practises, set up a rota, service del/service desk.
There is a junior (perm) doing the service delivery piece, however they need a more senior contractor to come in. Might be a bit of team management in relation to mentoring.
Really immature with process within the business and this is where they need a Service Delivery Manager to come in and deliver.
As Service Delivery Manager you will be reporting to the I.T Director
No direct reports due to IR35
Currently work with Salesforce, Dayforce and Sitecore.
The ideal candidate

Will ideally come from a consumer led background. (Retail, eComm, Travel)
Consultative Mindset
No ego/down to earth.
