Service Delivery Manager (Contract)

* Birmingham/Coventry (2-3 days – Remote Working)

* c£500-£550 per day

The Opportunity:

We are currently looking for an experienced Service Delivery Manager to assist our client with the management of change, release and deployment activities for the support of a real time, mission critical control system. You will occupy a key role in the change, release and deployment management activities, and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of processes and services through effective use of CSI.

Skills and Experience:

* Strong experience working in a Service Delivery or Problem/Incident Manager role

* In-depth understanding and certifications in service management methodologies (ITIL V4, ServiceNow)

* Experience with change management planning and documentation

* A deep understanding of escalation actions, processes and reporting

* Extensive exposure to release and deployment management processes

* Ability to manage senior level stakeholders and end clients

* Willing to work as part of a rota to ensure 24/7 coverage

Role and Responsibilities:

* Take responsibility for the management of all Request for Changes, and ensure changes are correctly planned and implemented

* Plan and execute new releases buy overseeing build, test and pilot phases

* Manage senior stakeholders based in the US and EU, ensuring there is an effective level of communication between key members

* Monitor and react to incidents and faults throughout the delivery lifecycle, adhering to the latest service management methodologies

* Roll out changes and configurations to the platform to maintain a high level of system effectiveness and availability
