Job Description
Are you interested in providing technical support to a global business to maintain IT business systems, data security, and efficiency? Would you like to be part of a large team that enables IT systems and security to be maintained globally for all users daily?
You will join a technically minded team ensuring IT systems are maintained to the optimum level. You will use your problem-solving and communication skills to effectively work with the organisation.
The key responsibilities include:
• React quickly and professionally to service desk incidents and requests that are submitted by users via the Self Service Portal
• Responding to support requests for hardware such as, but not limited to, PC’s, Laptops, Mobile devices, and Printers
• Responding to Service Requests
• Provide knowledge base articles to be consumed by the end-user
• Collaborate with other Northern Marine IT teams to facilitate change and introduce new services to the business.
• Use a collaborative approach to problem-solving within the Service Desk team and other resolver groups.
• Provide clear and concise ticket notes in the ITSM tool.
• Identifying CSIP (Continuous Service Improvement Process) that improves how the Service Desk functions
• Asset Database management.
• Major Incident Management
You will need to have experience in some of these key areas (but will still consider if not all) :
• IP Networking and Hardware support
• Desktop & Printer Hardware support
• Windows 7 & Windows 10 support
• Windows Server Administration
• Active Directory Administration
• MDM Administration – InTune
• Office 365 Administration
• Desktop & Printer Hardware support
• Remote access experience and remote support
• IP Phone management Administration (Avaya)
Please note that this role is in Clydebank and all candidates should be able to commute to this location.
