Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Service Desk Administrator to join a leading accountancy firm based in Canterbury on 12-month contract basis.
This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual who is passionate about delivering excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operation of IT systems to join our ambitious team.
Key responsibilities:
Assist employees with IT issues via phone, email or in-person
Monitor and respond to service desk tickets, track progress and ensure all requests are resolved within agreed SLAs
Proactively identify areas for improvement in IT service delivery and suggest solutions
Provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software problems, and escalate to senior IT staff when necessary
Perform regular software updates and maintain inventory of hardware and software assets
Document procedures and maintain accurate recordsDesired qualifications and experience:
Relevant experience in an IT position
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows desktop and server environments, Office 365, Active Directory, and networking (e.g. VPN, WAN/LAN, routing, and switching)
Knowledge of ITIL and service management principles
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
