Job Description
Service Desk Analyst – (Service Desk, Windows, O365, AD, Active Directory, Office 365 Patching, DNS, DHCP, Ticketing, ITIL) – Permanent – Hinckley
Charles Simon Associates are currently looking for a Service Desk Analyst on a permanent basis for a fast growing UK wide organisation based in Hinckley.
Location: Hinckley
Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum
Skills/Requirements for the Service Desk Analyst:
* Previous experience in a similar role is vital for this position
* Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
* Strong Active Directory
* Experience of supporting and troubleshooting Office 365
* Strong ticket management experience including good time management
* Any experience of supporting MS Exchange is highly desirable
* Experience of working within an ITIL environment is highly desirable
Start date is ASAP for the Service Desk Analyst
The Service Desk Analyst will be responsible for:
* Ensuring that the Service Desk Manager and other senior members of the IT business are kept informed of progress and in particular are told of major problems and/or issues in a timely manner
* Being the first point of contact on the Service Desk.
* New Starters and Leavers administration from the technical perspective
* Working to and within already agreed SLA’s and KPI’s
* Providing Application Support when needed
* Providing high levels of 1st call fix where possible
* Reporting faults and maintaining logs on desktop and laptop numbers within the business
