Service Desk Analyst
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:30pm with 1 hour lunch
Location: Coventry, Meriden Hall
Salary: £23,000 – £25,000

We are looking for people looking to start a long-term career in IT to join as Service Desk Analysts on a permanent basis. You will be working on a busy helpdesk, speaking to our customers and helping them through hardware and network issues over the phone.
Reporting to the Support Desk Team Leader, the Support Desk Analyst is responsible for assisting the customer in the daily use of all computer hardware and related software packages and telecommunications. The successful applicant will act as first line support dealing with any problems that arise and answering any questions the customers may have, delegate issues through to second line if unable to resolve them and will open and close incidents in the Support Desk software package.
You will be working from a lovely head office location based in Meriden. Free parking on site, squash courts and lots of scenic walks you could take over lunch time, this role also offers development and natural progression into 2nd and 3rd line should you want to go that route.
Troubleshooting – predominantly over the phone, email and chat
Working through tickets raised in order of priority
Managing stakeholder expectations
Ensuring customers are kept up to date
Working towards SLAs and deadlines
Delivering fantastic customer serviceExperience required:
