Job Title: Service Desk Coordinator

Hours: Full time, 36 hours per week

Job Status: 12-month fixed term

Location: Leeds Office (hybrid working)

Salary: £32,164 per annum

Skills for Care has an exciting opportunity for a Service Desk Coordinator to join our Digital Services team.

In this role you will be reporting into the Interim Head of Digital Services and be responsible for effective service desk support for Skills for Care staff and ensuring incidents and requests are dealt with promptly and appropriately, which will involve managing, and resolving incidents and requests, take ownership of incidents and problems and support project work.

As a subject matter expert, you will have a good technical background to provide a high-quality technical support, troubleshooting and manage the overall service desk “service”, ensuring that support activities are effectively delivered to achieve a high levels of user satisfaction and high levels of support standard.

You will be an effective communicator, both face to face and supporting users over the phone, ensure users are provided with regular updates whilst resolving their technical issue and you will have the ability to make and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally. You will be able to interact well with others and can communicate in a technical / non-technical way dependent on the audience.

You will also take responsibility for project planning, support projects for both planned work under the digital service strategy and for unplanned work resulting from a changing business need, ensuring digital projects are delivered effectively and efficiently.
