Job Description
We are assisting one of our Managed Service clients to grow their technical support team in their Derby offices.
Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years’ experience in a client facing technical support role, ideally at 2nd line.

Job Summary:
Your primary role as Service Desk Engineer, is to provide exceptional IT support to a varied and growing portfolio of business clients.
Main duties and responsibilities:
* Respond to support incidents within defined service level agreements (SLA), raised via web portal, email or telephone.
* Call Ownership – Ticket Creation, Update, Closure.
* Establish and maintain positive customer relationship by updating them throughout the escalation process.
* Logging details of fault, diagnosing and resolving problem.
* Liaise with 3rd party suppliers.
* Installation of new users’ accounts, assisting with password issues.
You will possess the following skills or experience:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a client facing technical support role
* Office 365 implementation/ migration experience
* MS Office 2010 – 2019
* MS Windows 7 – 10
* Windows Server based Infrastructure 2008 – 2016
* Active Directory
* Exchange 2013 – 2019
* TCP/IP Networking knowledge and understanding
* Understanding of good customer service
* Ability to learn and develop skills to keep-up with industry developments and changes
* Full UK driving licence
