Title: Service Desk Manager
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000
My well-respected client within the Managed Services Industry are on the lookout for a driven IT Service Desk Manager at their offices in Peterborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the helpdesk system of the company, as well as providing technical support to the team. You will have full access to all systems and be leading the team of engineers from the front-line!
** Develop and implement helpdesk system and processes.
** Manage the helpdesk team, including training, appraisals and other related activities.
** Provide technical support to customers and employees.
** Monitor and review helpdesk system performance.
** Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
** Providing 2nd/3rd line support where needed.
** Analyse helpdesk system data to identify trends and areas of improvement.
** Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.
Technical Skills required:
** Proven experience in helpdesk management.
** Comfortable leading a team
** Strong system administration experience.
** Excellent with Windows Servers, Office 365, Virtualisation and Networking.
** Good communication and interpersonal skills.
** Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
