Job Description

Site Reliability Engineer

Our client, a leading global supplier for IT services requires a Site Reliability Engineer based at their client's offices in London.

This is a Hybrid role. You are required to work 1-2 days per week from the office and you may work remotely on other days.

This role is a part of Renewables Energy and Solutions practice department.

This is a 6-month temporary contract with a possibility of long-term extension to start ASAP.

Day rate: Competitive market rate

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer with strong experience in two or more of the following areas – Azure DevOps, GitHub, SonarQube, Atlassian tools, Jenkins

Key Responsibilities / Key Skills

Proficient in Cloud Native Deployment with CI/CD Pipelines (GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps).
Strong technical skills (Intermediate to Expert) in two or more of the following areas – Azure DevOps, GitHub, SonarQube, Atlassian tools, Jenkins
Strong coding skills with modern languages Python, Terraform, YAML
Expertise in Azure Services like Azure Logic Apps, API Management, Azure Functions etc.
Experience operating and managing Azure/AWS cloud environments
Knowledge of ITSM process desirable
Expertise in Agile/Scrum principles

Candidate Specifications

Aptitude for discovering and learning new technologies and concepts.
Ability to set priorities and work multiple activities concurrently in rapidly changing environment.
Strong communication skills across various levels of the organization and with users with varying levels of technical capability.
Stakeholder Management: understand, work efficiently, and communicate effectively within a complex organization with multiple stakeholders.
Ability to work effectively and manage relationships with Business stakeholders, peers and subordinates, in a virtual, geographically dispersed and cross-cultural environment.
