About The Post

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Student Systems team for a motivated and highly-technical development team lead role. This role requires expert knowledge of Sits and Evision, problem solving within the application, solid technology background, software development track record, good team leading and collaboration skills, and dedication to delivering robust designs and features in rapid succession. You will be involved in a variety of delivery streams central to and interfacing Universities Student Systems software suite, primarily SITS and Evision. You will have a key role in managing stakeholders, developing robust and fit-for-purpose solutions, planning and delivering technical solutions through a mixture of internal and external resources while ensuring outstanding service and uptime.

Skills & Experience

Essential

This role will require a 'hands on' approach to providing solutions/fixing any issues found in Sits Client and Evision developments, therefore expert knowledge of SITS and Evision system functionalities and processes are key.
Working within a team, support the team and individuals where needed and progress any issues that may be causing problems efficiently and effectively as possible.
SITS and Evision technical solution design, development, delivery and integration.
Project Management and Software Lifecycle Delivery practitioner.
Substantial knowledge of approaches and processes for testing; including system, functional, user acceptance and performance.
Able to operate, stage, maintain and govern software and databases across on-premises server resources.
Experience of working in an IT Infrastructure including Oracle, Unix and Windows Server
