Job Description
Managing a distributed team, .NET and cloud development
In this role you’ll apply your .NET and cloud software development background, taking on managerial responsibilities for a distributed team across Europe. Remote working is available for UK residents, as is fully office-based working, in Cambridge, UK.
The company’s engineering software is embracing the latest developments in the cloud, to provide an integrated platform powered by a strong base of APIs with full analytics. This team provide SaaS tools to work on engineering designs, including collaboration, review and API access.
Your background will likely include:
• Software development, substantial projects to a commercial standard, using C# and the .NET Framework and/or .NET Core
• Having held responsibilities equivalent to a senior engineer, including independent work, taking the lead on projects, spotting potential problems, mentoring peers
• Technical leadership, facilitating productive and creative problem-solving, fast-paced work where required; in addition you will foster relationships within the organisation (Product Management, Dev Ops and other groups with a vested interest)
If you are looking to work remotely, you will likely have prior experience of leadership in such an environment. Additionally, it is advantageous if you have additional CAD, CAE, PLM, EDA, or a similar engineering design software background, along with prior experience with a Java tech stack in addition to C# and .NET.
