Their ground-breaking, machine-learning mapping software has been used to support data-driven, climate-focused projects across the global, covering incredible areas of land and processing satellite data from some of the most important and critically endangered ecosystems on earth.
Working exclusively with Bright Purple, they are eager to recruit a new engineer to work on their cloud-based, machine-learning and data processing infrastructure. This environments favours problem-solving and a flexible approach to tooling and tech.
You would be joining a small, exceptionally intelligent team working with technologies like:
cloud computing – i.e Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
python – (NumPY, SciPY, Pandas, Tensor Flow, Scikit Learn, etc.)
openAPI APIs
ml-optimised DevOps using serverless technologies and containerisation
The ideal candidate will have the following experience:
c. 2-3 years of commercial experience in data, machine learning or software development
previous experience with Python and its related libraries
experience building cloud-hosted data pipelines
knowledge of modern cloud and dev-ops tools
linux/unix
