    Job Description

    Milton Keynes – Software QA Engineer – Salary £40-55k – Electronics

    My client are leaders in the electronic manufacturing industry. The company are increasingly growing to meet the advancing demands and are looking for a Software QA Engineer.

    Main Duties:

    * Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful QA feedback

    * Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases

    * Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities

    * Design, develop and execute automation scripts

    * Run exploratory and automated tests, documenting the results

    * Identify, record, investigate, analyse and track bugs

    * Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved

    Key Skills and Experience:

    * Previous experience within a Software QA Engineer type role

    * Good knowledge of SQL and scripting

    * Experience with REST API, SQL, Selenium, HTML and CSS (desirable)

    The salary for the position is £40-55k depending on experience.
