    Job Description

    Software Tester needed for this large professional services business. The Software Tester will be joining and established team testing internally developed and 3rd party applications.

    Responsibilities are broad and include:

    Functional testing of all internally developed and 3rd party applications.
    Working closely with the Software Development and Deployment teams to help delivery of new software release.
    Contributing to agile meetings, including planning, review, retrospectives and daily stand ups.
    The right Software Tester will have solid experience of Test methodology, testing techniques and approaches, including functional and regression testing.

    Technically some of the below would be a real advantage although training will be provided:

    Agile (Scrum or Kanban)
    ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing
    Microsoft Test manager
    SQL Server (or any other DBMS)
    The role is in an agile team, with extensive collaboration within the team and with stakeholders across the business, as such, excellent communication skills are a must.
