Our client is a leading UK business in the Prop-Tech market.  They have a pressing need for a Technical Solution Architect.

The company operates on a large scale, managing a vast portfolio of properties with modern amenities and facilities. The organisation prioritises sustainability, incorporating eco-friendly practices into its operations and buildings, such as energy-efficient appliances and recycling programs. Additionally, it supports local communities by partnering with charities and organizations that benefit students and the wider community.

As a Cloud, Security and Integration Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for leading the high-level analysis, design, and delivery of high-value technology projects, ensuring that the business needs are met while supporting and enhancing ways of working and technical governance processes within the Strategy, Architecture, and Engineering function. You will also help shape the technology roadmap, test new technologies, and showcase innovative potential future business solutions to technical teams and wider business stakeholders, highlighting the potential business benefits and any constraints or challenges.

Responsibilities:

Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design and deliver innovative solutions that are customer-focused, data-led, and automated.
Design and implement security measures to protect data stored on public clouds against unauthorized access, including secure authentication methods, encryption, access control lists, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, and other measures.
Automate integration and deployment pipelines with past experience in languages such as Groovy, Python, HCL, etc.
Design and develop detailed technical architecture models and solutions that are robust, secure, flexible, and scalable.
Assist in designing the process for system and application migration to the cloud to meet technical and business requirements and develop new technical features to integrate and implement within new cloud applications and systems.
Integrate with non-cloud technologies and third-party vendor products/services.
Ensure cloud-based platforms are well-managed, including environments provisioning and management, security and access control, resilience and DR management, policies enforcement, cost management, continuous integration, and testing.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in cloud, security, integration, and technical architecture domains.
Communicate complex technical solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.

Requirements:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience working with cloud-based solutions across one or more vendors (AWS, GCP, Azure, Salesforce).
At least 3 years of experience in designing and implementing cloud security measures, and at least one Cloud Security and Cloud engineering certification.
Experience automating integration and deployment pipelines with Groovy, Python, HCL, and other languages.
In-depth knowledge of REST, API, Microservices, and Event-based streaming.
Strong knowledge of technical architecture, including design and development of technical architecture models and solutions.
Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions.
Strong communication skills and ability to communicate complex technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
