Permanent – £80k + car allowance + 10% bonus

My client, a market leading consultancy within the retail and eCommerce sector are recruiting a Solution Architect into a permanent position.

Responsibilities:

* Deliver high quality Retail Architecture propositions into clients using a number of innovative and ‘tried and tested’ approaches and frameworks.

* Being flexible and adaptable to deliver the appropriate solutions that meets and exceeds our clients’ needs.

* Be highly motivated self-starters, working in an entrepreneurial way that compliments and enhances the clients’ approach to Retail Architecture.

* Embrace new approaches that help drive engineering changes to deliver solutions of value to our clients.

* Apply agile and different modes of delivery to maximise investments made by their clients.

* Support pre-sales activiites as required and assisting in the development of intellectual property.

Skills and Experience:

* Confidence to present solutions and influence key stakeholders

* Owning and creating complete Architectures including all associated documentation

* Ensure that solutions will meet budgetary constraints

* The production of evaluation criteria used to short list suppliers during product selection

* Good stakeholder management abilities and vendor management

* Excellent grasp of integration, data, application, infrastructure and business domains is essential

* Able to articulate architectural vision through capability led planning

* Preferably experienced in at least one Architecture framework (e.g. TOGAF, Zachman, POET & PEAF etc.)

* Provide assurance for all solution related deliverables

* Minimum Business or Technology degree educated.
