Are you a Solutions Architect seeking an exciting new role based in Portsmouth? Our client is looking for an experienced solutions architect to join a growing team and lead the enterprise system architecture activities of their digital transformation project. The successful candidate will have experience with network administration and extensive knowledge of operating systems, database management and web platforms.

Please note that this role would require eligibility for SC clearance.

Responsibilities:

Defining and designing the systems solution, produce detailed systems requirement documents and oversee the procurement and implementation of the new solution.
Create solution prototype and tactical solutions
Engage with senior business and IT stakeholders to ensure the architecture supports business outcomes and can be easily communicated and understood
Lead the solution selection process, defining criteria and assist in solution selection
Implement process and consistent models to maintain traceability between strategy, programme portfolio, current and target technology landscapes and solution designs
Experience / requirements:

Experience with network administration in hardware and software
Extensive knowledge of computer systems, operating systems, system security, database management and web platforms
Project management and teamwork skills
Strong stakeholder management skills
