SQL Administrator – £400pd (Outside IR35) – 6 Months – Stevenage

Parity Group are delighted to partner with our client, a prestigious IT Service and Consulting company, who are looking to recruit a SQL Administrator on an initial 6-month contract basis assisting with a critical Data Centre Transformation project. This role will see you primarily working from site in Stevenage with occasional remote working available.

To be eligible for this role, you must:

– Be able to work from site in Stevenage 2/3 days per week

– Have active full SC Clearance

Key Skills/Experience Required:

SQL skills – Version 2005 to 2019, express and full.
Oracle DB, V9.2.0.8 to (phone number removed). Windows server (Apply online only).
Unix OS basic knowledge.
Database and server management
Proactive monitoring of databases and servers,
Investigation of application and DB issues
Excellent communication skills
Strong commitment to the client service.
Database Administration for Oracle (11g, 12c, 19c)
Database Administration for MS SQLServer
Application server administration: Apache HTTP Server, Tomcat, MS IIS, Oracle HTTP server, WebLogic & legacy OC4J server
Operating systems: Windows (Apply online only), Linux SuSe SLES 11 / 12
Use of Nagios monitoring software or similar.Additionally the following technical experience would be beneficial: MS Azure, SSIS, SSRS, Linux Bash or Korn scripting, Windows Batch Script, HTML, MySQL, C, networking, TCP/IP & firewall
