Supply Chain Technical Specialist
Retail client
Hertfordshire HQ – Hybrid remote working
Up to £45k + bonus + benefits

Do you have Supply Chain Technical Specialist experience? Deerfoot IT is helping a respected Retail company recruit a Supply Chain Technical Specialist and the role comes with an attractive salary of up to £45k p/a and a benefits package.

As a Supply Chain Technical Specialist, you will play an active part in the maintenance and enhancement of our client's Supply Chain technology stack and the integration with other supporting systems.

You will also work alongside other technology team members and software vendors during the move to the new cloud platform and then in the management of the systems after the migrations are complete.

To give you an idea of how this flexible role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do:

*Work closely with business subject experts and other Technology team members to ensure the systems operate effectively and are supported in line with business operating requirements
*Identify opportunities for improving the use technology to benefit the business operation and operating costs
*Ensure that new solutions and enhancements are designed, planned, delivered, and supported in accordance with the Technology team's agreed standards
*Work and collaborate with Supply chain teams where required, acting as technical lead
*Take ownership of incidents to resolution and communicate updates to the agreed stakeholders

To apply for this Supply Chain Technical Specialist role, you will need at least 3 years of experience working with Supply Chain or similar software. You will also require the following:
*Operational or development experience with Supply Chain technology
*Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems such as Manhattan or Reply or similar
*Hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, including Azure, DevOps and GitHub
*Direct involvement with system integration and user acceptance testing
*Good operational and change management skills
*Ability to design build-in supply chain hardware and devices
*Knowledge of Middleware, including Openware, EDI and API
