Systems Engineer

Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a tech-savvy individual to join an established IT Department to help develop our clients IT Infrastructure and software deployments. You will be instrumental in bringing designs into reality and creating functional systems to support activities. Our client is currently using both PBX and VOIP/SIP systems and is transitioning the ideal candidate will have knowledge of both.

Skills and Experience:

Knowledge of PBX and VOIP/SIP with exposure to some of the following technologies:

* Infrastructure: Linux (Redhat/CentOS), Windows (Server 2012/2019), Networking (Routers, Switches, Firewalls & VPN), Docker, Kubernetes (on premises), KVM & VMware, Scripting (Bash, Python & PowerShell), Automation (Ansible, Puppet, Kickstart)

* Data: SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server), Redis, ActiveMQ Artemis

* Software: Java 11+ e.g. Spring (Boot, Data, Cloud & Security), JPA (Hibernate), JMS (Artemis), Vaadin 14+, Maven, Html, Css & Javascript, React, Node

* Cloud: AWS (Route 53, EC2, RDS, Quicksight & Lightsail), Google (Various API’s including Docs, Maps), Office 365
