Job Description
Test Engineer – Hybrid – Welwyn Garden City – £65,000
Company:
You will be joining a company who's main focus has been the innovation of satellite communication and have been at the top of their field for this industry for 20 years.
The role itself would be to join an exisint team to provide additional support to the ongoing test programmes. It will require development of the system and sub-system acceptance.
Responsibilties:
– Development and execution of test cases which will incorporate IP-based service networks
– Design, develop and prepare VV&T (Validation, Verification and Testing) strategies and plans
– Creation of test reports to document issues and assist development with the investigation and resolution of issues
Technical skills:
– Experience of IP networks
– Experience of software scripting tools (e.g. Python, TCL, Javascript, C/C++ or similar).
– Experience of creating test procedures / cases / scripts
– Experience of testing user interfaces (UI/UX)
