Tech Lead

£80-100k | JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js & PHP | Fully remote (with an office in the Southwest if you ever want to visit)

This company has changed the game. They've developed a SaaS product that every company in the Hospitality industry are fighting over to get their hands on & implement ASAP!

You know how it is, you go on a hotel website and book up a room – job done! But what about all the other extras that make that venue unique??? The existing systems result in a real lack of customer experience and a lack of revenue maximisation – a lose-lose situation.

Well, that's the problem my client has solved and it's an exciting time for them as they're now in scale-up phase, looking to add some passionate Tech Leads to the team.

You'll be leading on projects, being hands-on in the codebase and doing lots of collaborative coding with the wider engineering team. Bringing a polyglot mindset to the role and a yearning for developing new skills, ideally you'll have experience across the JavaScript ecosystem & previous experience in PHP. Experience of breaking down a monolith system would also be useful!

What you'll bring to the role;

A proven track record of working in a Tech Lead role or similar
A strong knowledge of the JavaScript ecosystem and experience with a PHP codebase
Good knowledge of Agile methodologies
The ability to confidently contribute towards strategic architectural & technological solutions
The humility to consider different points of view & conclude the best solution for the wider technology team
A polyglot mindset towards development
