Job Description

Job Title: Technical Business Analyst
Location: Hybrid (Peterborough area)
Contract: Inside IR35
Hours/Duration: Full time, 5 days per week. Initial 3 Month contract with some potential to be extended.

The Role of Technical Business Analyst
Our innovative and inspiring client is looking for an experienced and versatile Technical Business Analyst to assist with the requirement definition and development prior to the implementation of a new ERP system. The successful candidate will shape the product roadmap and build meaningful user stories by completing detailed analysis on journey's, features, and epics. This role will suit someone who has extensive experience with complex software systems, performing analysis, documenting requirements, epics, features, and user stories.
The successful candidate will ideally be familiar with scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe), Balsamiq, and experience working in Cloud, IaaS, SaaS environments.
Technical Business Analyst Responsibilities:

Performing system analysis on software programs, applications, and web services.
Efficiently integrating new systems, programs, and applications with business operations and services.
Agile delivery processes
Bespoke software development business analysis experience
The role is responsible for eliciting requirements and developing comprehensive analysis artefacts
The role will work together with Product Owners, Architecture, Support teams, Development and Testers to ensure that solutions are appropriate and meet stakeholders needs.
Will have previous experience in:

Experience with API and XML
Experience working on a data integration/migration project
Understanding of application architecture approaches such as API, Micro Service, Event-Driven Architecture, RESTful web services, and N-Tier Applications.
Requirements modelling techniques e.g., UML, use cases, user stories etc.
Prefer a hands-on approach to gathering user requirements.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; with a natural ability to articulate ideas, problems, and technical solutions in a way that non-technical people can understand.
Experience running workshops capturing requirements in the form of user stories with a senior stakeholder audience.
Demonstrable experience working on a large, multi-national transformation project.
Demonstrable experience working in a project-based, client-facing environment.
