The Role

· Identify data sources, both internal and external, and working out a plan for data management that is aligned with organisational data strategy.

· Develop and implement an overall organisational data strategy that is in line with business processes. The strategy includes data model designs, database development standards, implementation and management of data warehouses and data analytics systems.

· Define and manage the flow of data and dissemination of information within the organisation.

· Integrate technical functionality, ensuring data accessibility, accuracy, and security.

· Conduct a continuous audit of data management system performance, refine whenever required, and report immediately any breach or loopholes to the stakeholders.

· Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors for the smooth functioning of the enterprise data system.

Your Profile

* Design and optimise data models on Cloud for different datastores.

* Working experience in a cloud native environment in one of the 3 major public clouds (GCP, AWS, Azure).

* Proven experience in migrating workloads from on premise to cloud environment.

* Knowledge of systems development, including system development life cycle, project management approaches and requirements, design, and testing techniques

* Ability to implement common data management and reporting technologies, as well as the basics of columnar and NoSQL databases, data visualisation, unstructured data, and predictive analytics.

* Experience in data architecture development, data modelling, ETL, and DW solutions.

* Background in supporting business teams by providing subject matter expertise and guidance in modern data engineering.
