Technical Operations Manager – AWS – SW11 – Hybrid – £50-60K

My client a world leading media company are currently searching for an experience tech expert to Manage IT systems and be heavily involved with stakeholder management, Admin and billing.

We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of infrastructure and to be able to take your own initiative in finding solutions for major projects and new ideas to help advance the business.

Responsibilities:

***Managing hosting requirements and services for multiple internal teams

***Manage day-to-day operations of our AWS estate, particularly in areas like identity management and profiles, creating instances, configuring S3 buckets

***Be able to audit what we currently have, make recommendations on best practices for architecture, and be able to manage a program to implement those changes

***Ensuring best practise procurement and due diligence process are made.

***Communicate progress to various levels of the business; i.e. Technology Stakeholders and The Technology Board and Finance
***Provide Technical expertise in relation to publishing and collaboration tools, processes and workflows. (G Suite, Product Archive, Box, AWS, GCP, etc)

***Understand the security implications for our AWS estate and work with the security team on implementing best practices

***DNS and Domain Management

***Ensure hosted environments are appropriately tested and maintained, with specific reference to business product and security requirements.

Requirements:

***Experience within the Media industry

***Good understanding of information architecture and development environments

***Background within a similar sector to Building services/Construction
