Our client, within the public sector, are currently looking to recruit for a Technical Project Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing various system and application upgrade projects.
The Technical Project Manager will be working within a Waterfall following PRINCE2 methodologies. Excellent governance and project planning experience is essential for the Technical Project Manager.
Responsibilities for the Technical Project Manager
You will be assigned projects to deliver in line with agreed priorities and can expect to be managing a number of different projects at any one time.
You will take ownership of the delivery all project and planning activities including the associated resourcing, budget, stakeholder management, communications, project documentation and associated governance processes.
Required to liaise with your technical project manager colleagues to ensure dependencies, risks, issues are clearly understood across the entire portfolio and prepare and present updates for various meetings and programme level boards.
