Sales Solutions Account Manager
Crowthorne, Berkshire
£30,000 – £50,000 Base (£100,000+ OTE), Plus Private Healthcare and Pension
Product / Service: Leading provider of technical experts and engineers in delivering fibre optic solutions to ISPs, Universities, Data Centres, Network Carriers and Public and Private Enterprises.
Clients include: Typically Public Sector, large SMEs and Corporate Enterprises including the likes of Jaguar Land Rover, BT, Virgin Media, NTT & University of Cambridge
Pedigree: JOSCAR Registered – Services for the Aerospace, Defence and Security.
Cyber Essentials, The National Security Inspectorate (Gold), ISO 14001, UKAS ISO 9001, Platinum standard Ecovadis (Sustainability)

The Technical Sales Solutions Account Manager Role:
We are searching for a candidate who is currently working within the industry in pre-sales/sales or from a Network Architect environment. You will have existing knowledge and relationships which will assist you as you progress and grow your team.
This is strictly a technical solutions sales role as opposed to a software application sales role.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Retain and grow business from existing clients
+ Broaden the penetration of the companies manufacturers and service offerings
+ Strengthen business relationships from Preferred Provider to Strategic Partner
+ Provide detailed forecasts of future business opportunities with existing clients
+ Gather information relating to a variety of business and market sectors
About You:
+ Driven and determined to succeed
+ Client-focussed; ability to gather information and disseminate key points
+ Strong negotiation skills and ability to think on your feet; Creativity; Target driven
+ Planning and prioritising own workload
+ Strong technical knowledge in the data/telecoms/technology arena
Essential Experience:
+ Knowledge of selling active equipment solutions is essential!
+ At least 5 years successful solutions sales experience in a technology business with a proven track record
+ At least 2 years with account management responsibilities along with experience in selling active equipment solutions, for example switching, optical transport, data connectivity etc. Optical and Ethernet/IP skills
+ Good knowledge of networking companies such as Cisco, Adva, Infinera, Juniper, HP etc
Desirable Experience:
+ Degree or relevant qualification in the industry, preferably Telecoms/ Datacoms/ technology related field
+ Telecoms / Datacom’s sales experience; previous dedicated Account Management experience; work as part of a SME, company/team.
