Technical Trainer
Gatwick / WFH options

Technical Trainer required by an innovative and thriving multi-award winning Business Intelligence start-up who after dominating the UK market are now also expanding their products and services internationally. The Technical Trainer will be responsible for both inhouse technical training on software products & systems, as well as external training for clients & external stakeholders.

A few details about the role
As a Technical Trainer you will have an exciting, challenging, diverse, rewarding and integral role within the business. Some of your responsibilities will include:

* Responsible for the delivery and training on our technology and software to clients either virtually, or when rules allow, in person and is responsible for all elements of the training provided to our customers.

* This is an integral role where you will be responsible for the training provided to our customers from initial proof of concept through to post sale and roll-out. Consequently, you will become an expert on operating the software and understand the application from a customer perspective.

* You will master learning environments on-line by using a variety of teaching tools and technologies that optimise the learning experience. You will also be responsible for training internal new starters as part of the induction programme.

* Manage the training process from completing a Training Needs Analysis to Post Training evaluation

* Working with the Client Services team, you will respond accurately and timely to post training support calls

* Keeping up-to-date with new functions and maintain high quality training material that is well presented, accurate, and supports learning effectively

* Articulate the value proposition through the learning process

* Understand and monitor your KPIs to support department and business success

What you will need

* Previous experience in software training

* Proven skills in delivering on-line training

* Knowledge and experience in working with web applications

* Ability to develop trusting relationships quickly

* Previous experience in delivering training to different levels of customers from ‘end users’ to senior stakeholders

* Ability to analyse training needs of customers

* Ability to create bespoke training content in line with the customers’ needs

* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills

* Excellent listening skills

* Resilient, resourceful and adaptable

* Ability to manage the unexpected and improvise appropriately.

* A genuine desire to develop people’s skills and improve their performance
