Monarch are working with a finance organisation, based in London, that are recruiting for a technical writer to assist them on an initial 12 month contract. This is a hybrid position which requires 2-3 days on site and falls inside IR35.
Some of the responsibilities include:
Producing technical documents for application software which has been (will be) developed.
Obtain a clear understanding of business requirements.
This position covers all documents across software development lifecycle.
Proactively analyse application logic to produce documentation that is easy to understand
Compilation of various documents relating to external and internal use will be required.
Understanding of companies Change Management Control procedures getting approval for any updates in production systems.
The skills required:
Extensive experience on Microsoft Office products like Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Must have experience working in one or more of the following documents:
· Technical Documents
· Management Documents
· Business Documents
· Maintenance Documents
Ability to manage tasks and responsibilities across multiple projects with minimal supervision, exhibiting good project management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
Track record of delivering high quality documentation, with high attention to detail
