Job Description
Telephony / VoIP Engineer
£300 Per day INSIDE IR35
9 month contract
Clean driving licence required.
**5 days a week on site in Brighton BN1**
* Telephony Project involving change from legacy EoL telephony to cloud telephony solution (VMB 8×8) with the following outputs / products;
o Deployment of new handsets
o Removal of legacy handsets
o On Site visiting (150+ sites)
o Maintaining change records of premise updates and assets
o Configuration management of cloud telephony
o Agile working reporting to and being managed by project manager
Job Duties:
* Delivery and installation of new VoIP handsets to sites around Brighton & Hove
* Connection of handsets to existing infrastructure.
* Auditing existing lines, recording of device MAC addresses and if available user information
* Initial life support and floor walking, answering queries associated with handset operation and triaging reported issues
* Provide handset operational training to site champions
Skills and Qualifications:
VoIP Telephony Experience [specifically Avaya and 8×8 PBX platform advantageous], Network Patching and Basic TCP/IP, Technical Management, Technical Understanding, Analysing Information, Informing Others, Problem Solving, Coordination, Project Planning, Quality Management, Data & Record management
Required
Clean Full Driving licence required
