I am recruiting for a Mid Level (2+ years experience in manual testing) Test/QA with an interest in automation to join my client. They have been developing an eCommerce platform that has revolutionized the way that people book trips away. They have been shortlisted for a variety of awards and having just received substantial funding are now taking their product to the next level and significantly growing their tech team. They have an office in Gloucestershire but are happy for people to be completely remote and just pop into the office several times a year for company strategy days.

They have recently hired a CTO who is busy scaling their tech team and eager to create a happy culture where people thrive and are given the autonomy to try things out and develop. They are in the process of creating a brand new test function so it is a super exciting time to be joining. They have a Test Lead and are building out an automation team and are also looking for a manual tester with a couple of years experience to initially focus on the manual testing for them. They want someone chomping at the bit to learn automation who they can also take under their wings and train up on the automation front with tools like Cypress and Selenium. It is an amazing opportunity for someone eager to get their teeth into automation and you will be joining at the early stages where you can be part of the team helping to make sure that things are done the right way from the beginning and that a culture of quality is embedded throughout the tech teams. They are big on agile and shifting testing left and are keen for their QAs to get involved in testing right from the planning and requirements stages.

Their ideal person will have several years experience of manual testing across web-based products and have some experience of writing documentation or test plans and of course, you'll be keen to learn automation.

Salary is anywhere from £30,000 to £37,000 depending on experience
