Job Description

TEST IMPLEMENTATION MANAGER
Role/Description
Our client is looking for Test Implementation Managers who can act as a key role within the project implementation workstream that is responsible for the following:
*
Lead testing and migrations with accountability to define the testing strategy, and migration strategy, ensure successful readiness of the system and processes supporting the future strategic operating model and execute the implementation roadmap
*
Business liaison between all functional teams (Operations, Business Management, Front and Middle Office, Sales, Client Services, Compliance, Legal, Technology, and other control functions), the service provider, other 3rd Parties vendors, and the internal program team
*
Work closely with all workstreams to:
1.
Design, track, and execute all aspects of testing, including defect management.
2.
Design, manage, and execute the migration Command Centre and implementation playbook
3.
Establish and manage appropriate governance, leadership, and resources around all aspects of running the initiatives (e.g. Regulatory, risk, financial, people, technology)
4.
Ensure effective communication and escalation on overall program status, implementation plans, management issues, priorities, and risks
5.
Partner closely with global & location/regional managers to establish consistency and the best practices and provide thought leadership
6.
Work closely with business partners and other operational leaders to ensure the future the state system is fully ready to support the asset management outsourced functions
7.
Support / Drive Testing strategy to ensure successful readiness of the system and processes supporting the future strategic operating model
Skills Required
* The successful candidate will be a demonstrated leader with a proactive, hands-on management approach and strong operational skills with the following skills.
*
Strong Communication and Analytical skills
*
Investment Banking Experience
*
8+ years of relevant project management experience
*
Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s Degree
*
Proved ability and experience in implementing large strategic initiatives with significant technology and operational components
*
Proven track experience in managing large-scale testing efforts across multiple platforms
*
Strong experience with JIRA governance and tool
*
Strong sense of prioritization & ability to execute against deliverables. Able to take personal accountability for projects & issue resolution
*
Proven ability to build strong, cohesive partnerships with the business, operations, technology & other key stakeholders and work effectively in a matrix organization
*
Be able to lead, motivate and get the very best out of a high-performing team of operations professionals
*
Ability to challenge and influence stakeholders to ensure decisions are well thought out and can be executed from an operations perspective
