Now is your chance to join a newly created team in Galway that is tasked with building a large-scale, enterprise-ready platform that will power a hybrid edge-to-cloud suite of services.

This innovative cloud stack will drive transformation across data, connectivity, and security and offers you the chance to apply your creative skills to contribute to architecting and building this enterprise platform.

In this role, you will drive user experience transformation across the company's products and services.

Your Responsibilities

Be proactive and collaborative with designers across different product and service teams to understand and translate design research and product requirements into wireframes, mockups and clickable prototypes.

Understand the needs of design system consumers, and contribute to prioritizing and road-mapping the design system’s evolution 

Be a trusted team member that embraces our team's culture of collaboration, inclusion, and fun.  

Help facilitate usability studies to validate designs; synthesize results and drive design update ideation  

Work with UI developers to document and articulate pattern designs that integrate with the React-based framework, grommet.io.  

Able to understand and be comfortable recommending tradeoffs in design decisions, while also being hungry to learn and grow in specific areas such as research, accessibility  

Be creative and eager to get things done in a detailed and pixel-perfect manner while enjoying the journey  

The primary focus is to create accessible and inclusive pattern components and supporting documentation  


Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, UX Design, UX Research, Interaction Design, Fine Arts, or equivalent

6+ years of UI design experience, with a majority in enterprise software; SaaS experience preferred

Mastery of standard design tools: Figma, Sketch, Invision, Principle, and ability to push some pixels as well as work with vectors

Experience with Adobe Creative Suite

General understanding of HTML elements and basic CSS principles

Ability to create consistent experiences while utilizing a UI/UX design system

Basic understanding of data centre management and cloud technologies, as well as network and system administration tools.

As this is a new team you will have huge scope to work on interesting projects from the ground up.  The role is offered as hybrid with 2 days required in the Galway office
