VMWare Engineer

Location: United Kingdom

Salary: £400-£450

We are looking for a highly experienced VMWare Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. As a VMWare Engineer you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance and troubleshooting of VMware virtualization products and systems.

Responsibilities:

* Install and configure VMware ESX and vSphere components including vCenter

* Monitor and maintain VMware virtualized environments

* Analyze and troubleshoot performance issues in VMware virtualized environments

* Develop and implement best practices for VMware virtualized environments

* Create and manage virtual machine images

* Manage and monitor virtual machine backups

* Monitor and troubleshoot VMware vSAN

* Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure efficient performance of VMware virtualized environments

Technical Skills Required:

* Extensive experience with VMware virtualization technologies (ESXi, vCenter, etc.)

* Experience with VMware vSAN

* Ability to analyze and troubleshoot performance issues in VMware virtualized environments

* Knowledge of virtual machine images and backups

* Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, etc.)

* Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems

* Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

* SC or DV Cleared
