Job Title: Warehouse, Deployment & Orders Technician

Assistive Solutions is a Social Enterprise that works for disabled people. We provide specialist computer equipment, 1-1 teaching and have an in-house software development team. We are looking for energetic individual to join our fantastic team in Dalston, East London. You will be working in a small, agile organisation, with lots of support from the team.

About the role:

You will be required to do some warehousing work, however, the role would be suitable for an IT apprentice who wish to learn more about Deployment, IT Support and organisation of business.

Your main area of responsibility will be keeping the stock room tidy, picking orders, deployment and assembly customer orders. You will be assisting Deployment and Orders Engineer and eventually expected to perform those tasks independently. You will also be taught to provide ad-hoc technical support and helping students with queries.

There is an opportunity to get involved in reporting, computer repairs, RAM Upgrades and managing Windows Deployment system.

Key duties:

Stock Control
Warehouse maintenance
Stock picking
Prepare machines for installation (power, network)
Deployment
Recording Serial numbers
Creating accurate order paperwork
Assembling & Packaging orders for shipping
Courier Bookings
Remote set-ups & email deliveriesAdditional duties:

Responding to allocated support calls
Maintaining accurate records on Data Base
Carrying out Remote Health Checks
