As a Web Developer , you'll be joining an inclusive and professional team, where you'll contribute to the development and testing of products and features, pair programming, code reviews and daily stand-up. The successful candidate will be encouraged to keep up to date with the latest technologies and learn from an experienced team of Developers. The position will be at the head office located close to Birmingham Airport. It is an office based role but this will certainly be an advantage for you to learn from a strong team of Developers. You will be involved in both new and existing ongoing development projects, as well as being an integral part of the team to ensure that the existing systems are maintained and improved with enhancements where needed due to the business needs.

Key day to day responsibilities include:-

Working on and supporting over 70 group websites. 
Creating new websites and functionality. 
Helping to assist in a digital transformation project, which includes new mobile applications.
Working alongside internal customers, in-house departments, third party suppliers and external agencies.
Streamlining processes and bringing creativity to the team.
Implementing best practices using a Dev Ops approach.
Standardisation, modularisation and reusability of code and assets.The successful Web Developer  will have experience in the following areas:-

HTML5
CSS3 & SCSS
JavaScript
Experience with a modern JS framework such as Vue or React.
Experience with a Content Management System 
If you have knowledge of C#, JavaScript and Microsoft Azure, Azure SQL would be a distinct advantage for this role but most importantly the right attitude to learn and the desire for a long term career in Software Development then we would like to speak to you.
