Job Description

Wintel Specialist – £400pd (Outside IR35) – 6 Months – Stevenage

Parity Group are delighted to partner with our client, a prestigious IT Service and Consulting company, who are looking to recruit a Wintel Build SME on an initial 6-month contract basis assisting with a critical Data Centre Transformation project. This role will see you primarily working from site in Stevenage with occasional remote working available.

You will receive a competitive daily rate up to £400 and the contract will see you OUTSIDE IR35.

Key Responsibilities

Work within a specialised team to support and maintain the infrastructure of our Microsoft stack
Proactively monitor platforms to identify security, performance, and capacity issues.
Work autonomously in the team to manage a balanced workload of BAU support and project deliverables
Documentation of processes, configuration and known fixes to develop a shared knowledge base
Controlled delivery of improvements, changes, and patches Essential Experience

Experienced engineer specialising in Microsoft Windows Server Enterprise, Active Directory, and Group Policy Management
Data Centre rack/stack type skills
VMWare knowledge is key.
Experience with ADFS
Ability to develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures and scenario playbooks
Configuration management experience (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
Experience in KeyClock, ADFS OAuth 2.0 and integration of cloud services
Familiarity with software development practices (version control, CI/CD)
