Workforce Planner

Who we are looking for:
A dynamic individual that has strong organisational and planning capabilities combined with outstanding communication skills, ideally, gained within a workforce or resource planning setting. The ability to work well under pressure, a passion to thrive in a reactive fast-paced environment are a must, as well as confidence in working individually or as a team to meet deadlines – all whilst demonstrating a sense of humour is essential.
Responsibilities:
*
Responsible for planning out and managing suitable resource across a range of projects – experience of Software Development Life Cycle skillsets/technologies beneficial.
*
Project Forecasting – working with team members and other departments to understand future project requirements and recruitment needs.
*
Maintain accurate information and data via the WFM tool (Runn.IO).
*
Maintain Service Level adherence by ensuring effective resource utilisation and allocation.
*
Maintain an awareness of project budgets along with other commercial considerations to inform decision making.
*
Engage with both the Project Delivery Team and Head of Departments to assess feedback during project delivery and/or post completion to gain an understanding of where improvements can be made.
*
Ability to discuss allocations with potential employee candidates and sell benefits/match career aspirations.
Required Experience:
*
Great organisation skills; both your own and assisting other team members
*
Handling team and client requests and ensuring those requests are met
*
Kick-ass Microsoft 365 skills (Excel, Word, Teams etc)
*
You will need to be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience of Scheduling and Planning applications.
*
Experience with banding methodologies beneficial eg SFIA
*
Comfortable extracting data from systems and creating meaningful reports
*
Excellent spoken and written communication
*
Other tasks as reasonably requested (yes, our lawyers asked for that one)
